Never mix business with pleasure
Well another hard lesson in life learned. Never mix business with pleasure! I HAD a good friend for over a year and eventually started to work for her. For the 4 months I ran 2 of her websites for her I never got paid a single penny. For the past 5 months never got paid for moderating her forum either. In casual conversation with another website owner I mentioned I had not gotten paid yet but would give both the sites a cpl more months to see if they grown, profit wise. Well this conniving, lying dirtbag I said this too through email, chopped and edited my email to make it look like I was talking trash on my friend/boss and sent it to her a week later.
My so called friend did not have the nerve to come and ask me if this was true. Instead she locked me out of all the accounts and it wasn’t until I asked her if there was a problem with one of the accounts. Then all hell broke lose. She torn me a second you know what. i was so utterly hurt and pissed! I have the copies of the original emails that I could prove myself to her with. But I look at it like this…if she didn’t have the balls to ask me about it first or to even think I did that, then I don’t need that type of “friend” in my life anyways. I certainly didn’t need to waste 15 hours a day working her websites for free either. Now I don’t trust her as far as I can throw her. Hard lesson learned here.
